Meet the A. Little Staff

Practice Manager
Larry is not only Dr. Little’s husband but our practice manager. Even though you don’t see him in the office all that often he is a key player in our daily business activities. We would be lost without him. He loves golfing, playing cards and spending time with his two daughters Christie & Claudia. He contributes a huge amount of business knowledge to the clinic as well as a sense of humor that no one can match! We all truly appreciate all that Larry does to keep everyone running smoothly. He helped in building the practice from the bottom up. Not to mention all of the hard work he has done with many of our renovations!

Office Manager
Julie has been with us since the beginning. She grew up in Seaford and graduated from Virginia Tech in 1984 with a degree in Communications and Public Relations with a minor in Psychology. This makes her uniquely qualified as the Office Manager. She juggles her time between the care of our clients’ pets and the care of our staff. She loves her unique day to day challenges. Julie gets satisfaction in seeing her staff talk to clients about their pet’s health issues in a professional empathetic way that allows them to understand and make educated decisions. Julie has been married to Gray almost 30 years and has 3 wonderful daughters and 1 son-in-law. She has four horses, two dogs, and two cats. She enjoys riding, especially paper chases with her Thoroughbred, Max, and the excitement of becoming a Grandmother.

Inventory Manager and Computer Analyst
Candace has been with the A. Little team for 11 years as of July 2013. She began as a receptionist and has gained knowledge in many aspects of the hospital including inventory management, website support and customer service. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Wilmington University of Delaware. Her interests in the veterinary field are keeping clients educated and consistency of care. She is an animal lover but has a soft spot for Labradors. In her spare time she enjoys time with friends & family, the beach and staying active.

Surgical Nurse
Brenda has been with us for over 6 years and is our surgical care nurse. She is a strong leader and puts patient care first. While assisting in every surgical procedure she maintains a clean and organized surgery area. She prides herself in ensuring patients get the care they deserve! She enjoys learning more about skin, nutrition and dental care. Her love of animals only begins with cats and dogs. Her true companions are her horses. When she’s not hard at work at the clinic, she’s riding horses, spending time with her family and doing all kinds of outdoor activities.

Joining the A. Little team in July of 2009, Debbie has over 13 years of experience in the veterinary setting and has worked in three different states within the veterinary field. She has a strong interest in puppy behavior training and is joining in with Kelsey during classes to help with puppy obedience demonstrations. At work she enjoys time with her co-workers, watching puppies and kittens grow, learning something new every day but most important being a part of the healing process for those animals with special conditions and illness. At home she has four cats Edward, Allen, Michael Angelo and Daria and two happy dogs Annie and Mary Jane.

Otherwise she is assisting with patient care and restraint and surgery clean up. She has had pets throughout her life to include; gerbils, hamsters, turtles, dogs and for the first time she is the parent of a new cat. When she is not at work she enjoys time with friends and family.
